How to activate a free Office 365 subscription which came with your computer:
- Click on the Office tile in the Start screen.
- Then sign in with your Microsoft account. You can create an account if you don’t have one.
- Go to Run at the bottom of your screen.
Simply follow the prompts to install Office.
How to activate Office 2013 on a different PC:
In case you move Office 2013 to a different PC, you have to activate by phone. The number can be found in the Activation Wizard:
- Open any Office application (like Word or Excel), and go to File > Account > Activate Product.
- In the Activation Wizard, select I want to activate the software by telephone > Next.
- Now select your country/region.
- Then call the Product Activation Center phone number mentioned in Step 1.
