How to turn on the Enable Mail Logging option for troubleshooting in Outlook

This article describes how to enable the mail logging option in Microsoft Office Outlook via registry key.


Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Start, type regedit in the Start search box, and then click regedit.exe in the Programs list.
  2. In Registry Editor, find the following subkey for Outlook 2010:
  4. In the right pane, right-click EnableLogging, and then click Modify.
  5. In the Edit DWORD Value dialog box, type 1 under Value data, and then click OK.
  6. Exit Registry Editor.
